ICEHL team brings Florida Panthers draft pick into the league!

EC Red Bull Salzburg has secured the services of US defender Cole Krygier. The 25-year-old defenseman was selected by the Florida Panthers in the 7th round with the 201st overall pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.

The Bulls published the following post on social media: The American, drafted by the Florida Panthers in 2018, played five years in the NCAA at Michigan State University (160 games) and led the team as assistant captain in the 2022/23 season. Krygier then spent two AHL seasons with the Ontario Reign (82 games) and was most recently with the Savannah Ghost Pirates this season (24 games, 4 goals, 4 assists).

It is the fifth legionnaire in the Bulls’ defense and he should give it additional stability.
