EC Red Bull Salzburg found its way back to winning ways with a hard-fought home win against the Vienna Capitals. The Viennese took the lead in both the first and second thirds, but the home team – where captain Thomas Raffl received a game misconduct penalty early on – equalized in each case. In the 33rd minute, Antonitsch scored his fourth goal of the season when he was outnumbered to make it 3-2 for the guests. Baltram made it 3-3 in the final third before Michael Raffl secured the home win for the fourth-placed Red Bulls after just 14 seconds in extra time.
