In addition to a number of changes in the squad – among other things, veteran Alexander Pallestrang, who also played at the Red Bulls for many years, has ended his career – also takes on a new head coach at the coaching bench. Johannes Nygård follows Dylan Stanley, whom he has accompanied as Assistant Coach in the past two years. The youngest coach in the league at the age of 31 can therefore assess his opponents well and set his team well accordingly.
This can also be done by Oskar Maier, who moved to the Feldkirchers after seven years at the Red Bull Eishockey Academy and many missions in the Salzburg Profit team in 2023 and now even wears the “A” on his chest in his third season. The 23-year-old striker has so far been the only one to hit the Vorarlbergers twice.
