At EC Red Bull Salzburg, an agreement was reached with an important personnel regarding further cooperation. Benjamin Nissner remains on board.
The native of Vienna has been storming for EC Red Bull Salzburg since 2021 and has celebrated no fewer than four championship titles with the Mozartstadt team – he also won one with the Vienna Capitals in the 2016/17 season. The 28-year-old winger has played a total of 418 games this season and has scored 93 goals and 247 points. His season with the best points was in 2024/25 with 45 points – at that time he broke the 20-goal mark for the only time in his career.

Nissner will continue to be part of the Salzburg squad. His contract was extended for another year. In addition to Nissner, Luca Auer, Florian Baltram, Mathias Böhm, Mario Huber, Michael and Thomas Raffl, as well as Peter Schneider and Ali Wukovits are also under contract up front. So far the offensive has consisted exclusively of Austro cracks.
