Red Bull Salzburg celebrated their fourth consecutive home win across all competitions today. There was a 7-2 win against Ferencvaros Budapest, to which the first line of attack contributed four goals.
Defending champion EC Red Bull Salzburg had no problems against league newcomers FTC-Telekom and clearly won 7-2 at home. The guests only kept up for the first 14 minutes, then Salzburg pulled ahead 3-0 in the first third thanks to goals from Dennis Robertson (14th), Peter Schneider (17th) and Troy Bourke (20th). Bourke completed his brace shortly after the restart. Despite two Hungarian goals within five minutes (2:4), Salzburg remained undeterred and scored two more goals in the middle third. In the final period, Robertson also scored again and made the final score 7-2. In the table, Salzburg improved to fourth place, Budapest is in eighth place.
