ICEHL: Red Bull Salzburg captain Thomas Raffl issues suspension!

EC Red Bull Salzburg was able to regain self-confidence in the league after the CHL away defeat in Denmark. Yesterday they beat the Vienna Capitals 4-3 after extra time, but the duel with the capital team has consequences for a crack.

Thomas Raffl from EC Red Bull Salzburg was suspended for one game and fined 200 euros for an illegal check on the head or neck (IIHF Rule 48). The incident occurred in Friday’s game against the Vienna Capitals. The Red Bulls captain will therefore miss Sunday’s game in Fehérvár.
