ICEHL: Pustertal first pursuers of Laibach with an away win in Feldkirch!

HC Falkensteiner Pustertal beats Pioneers Vorarlberg 4-2 and is therefore hot on the heels of league leaders Olimpija Ljubljana.

HC Falkensteiner Pustertal worked its way up to second place in the table with a hard-fought 4-2 away win against Pioneers Vorarlberg. Tommy Purdeller gave the Wolves an early lead before Kevin Macierzynski equalized for the hosts with a shorthander. In the second third, the South Tyroleans took command and made it 3-1. The Pioneers’ goal in the final third came too late – Pustertal won 4-2 and remains the first pursuer of league leaders Olimpija.
