HC Falkensteiner Pustertal added to the Vienna Capitals 24 hours after the away win at Hydro Fehervar AV19. The South Tyrolean players a 4: 2 lead, but prevailed 5: 4 in the Steffl Arena after extra time.
The HC Falkensteiner Pustertal won a 5: 4 overtime victory in Vienna. The Capitals caught the better start: Maximilian Theirich falsified a shot from Dominic Hackl unsustainably to 1-0. After almost ten minutes in the middle section it was a stroke: First, Cole Bardreau ensured the overnight outnumbered in the meantime before Linden Vey – also outnumbered – caused a new Viennese leadership. But Pustertal also had the prompt answer in the person of Jonathon Blum. Other goals of the guests up to the 47th minute of Tommy Purdeller and Alan Lobis made the 4: 2 in the meantime and the supposed preliminary decision. However, the Viennese fought back and made it into the overtime by hits from Mitch Hults and Zane Franklin. There Markus Lauridsen made the decision. The HC Pustertal climbed to the third place in the table and is only two points behind Leader Ljubljana.
