Salzburg required in the top game against Bolzano

The undefeated leader Olimpija Ljubljana will continue to compete at the Vienna Capitals on Friday. In the capital duel, both teams separate eight points-Vienna is currently in seventh place. It is already the second meeting of this season: at the start of the season, the Slovenes celebrated a clear 8: 1 home win. With a total of 37 goals, Ljubljana is by far the best offensive in the league. This is followed by Graz with 22 goals, Vienna has so far been able to get 18 times. It is the fourth home game for the Capitals – after two wins against Budapest and Linz, it recently set a 1: 3 against Salzburg.
Linz and KAC in the crisis duel
Both the Steinbach Black Wings Linz and the EC-KAC are currently in the table cellar. Klagenfurt takes up tenth with six points, Linz with three points. Villach is aiming for third victory in series

Fehérvár recently suffered two defeats: a 4: 9 in Graz and a short 2: 3/Sun with leaders Ljubljana, where you led 2-1 up to five minutes before the end. Pustertal recently lost 2: 3 after playing a 2-1 lead shortly before the end. Before that, a surprising 2-1 home win against Master Salzburg. The South Tyroleans are still unbeaten away, Feirvár has won all home games so far. The last direct duel on January 12th clearly won Pustertal 5-0, the total of 24/25 was 2-2 wins.
7th round ends on Saturday
The sixth game of the 7th round between HC Tiwag Innsbruck and the Moser Medical Graz99ers will follow on Saturday. It is the only game of the week for the sharks, Graz has to compete in Vorarlberg the next day. The Styrians are in fourth place with ten points, Innsbruck forms the bottom with three points. The Tyroleans won only at the start of the Pioneers. Graz recently lost 3: 4 against Villach – the first defeat after 60 minutes this season. Against Innsbruck, the 99ers kept the upper hand in all four duels last season.
Vienna and Pustertal open the 8th round
The 8th round also begins on Saturday: The Vienna Capitals receive the HC Falkensteiner Puster Valley. For both teams it is the second game within 24 hours. The duel did not yet exist this season, last season the Capitals prevailed in three out of four matches. The remaining five games of the 8th round follow on Sunday.
