ICEHL-PREVIEW: The final new edition is available live on Orf1 today!

On Sunday there will be a new edition between the EC Red Bull Salzburg and the EC-KAC in the Win2day Ice Hockey League. The game will be transferred live to ORF 1 from 4.15 p.m. While the leadership duo from Ljubljana and Pustertal plays home games, the first western derby between the Pioneers Vorarlberg and HC Tiwag Innsbruck also increases.

On Sunday there is not only the final new edition between the EC Red Bull Salzburg and the EC-KAC, but also a special premiere: for the first time in the more than 25-year league history, ORF1 broadcasts a game of the Win2day Ice Hockey League in full length. The start of the program is at 4:15 p.m., in addition to the broadcast on linear TV, the livestream of transmission is available to on.ORF.at.

Salzburg and Klagenfurt are already in good shape. Both teams won two out of four games in the Champions Hockey League and also successfully started the league. While the KAC celebrated a shutout in the 4-0 against Fehervar, Salzburg prevailed 4: 3 in Bolzano. In the previous record of 181 direct duels, the Red Bulls with exactly 100 wins are at the front, including in all five recent meetings. In Salzburg, too, the numbers speak clearly for the hosts: 59 home wins are 31 successes of the red jackets.

Leadership duo with home advantage

After a clear 8: 1 success at the start, the HC Falkensteiner Pustertal and Olimpija Ljubljana lead the table-both have home games on Sunday. The South Tyroleans receive the Moser Medical Graz99ers who celebrate their season premiere. Last season, the Styrians won all four direct duels.

Black Wings demand Fehervar
