With a 4:3 overtime win over EC Red Bull Salzburg, Olimpija Ljubljana maintained its lead in the table. TJ Brennan made the decision against his former employer.
In the top game of the eleventh round, league leaders HK Olimpija Ljubljana hosted the champions of the last four seasons, EC Red Bull Salzburg. The duel kept what the starting position promised: The home team started with a lot of energy, but Salzburg presented itself more efficiently and took a 2-0 lead by the 13th minute thanks to a brace from Mario Huber. Ljubljana managed to score in the opening third and equalize in the middle third. In the final period, Ziga Pance gave the Dragons the lead for the first time before Connor Corcoran equalized to make it 3-3 two minutes before the end. In extra time, league top scorer TJ Brennan finally made the decision. Olimpija maintained first place, while Salzburg has to worry about the top 6.
