ICEHL: Multi-year contract for US scorer!

The first important squad news was announced at HC Falkensteiner Pustertal a few days ago. Among other things, Cole Bardreau is staying in Bruneck. The American has extended his contract with the South Tyroleans for a few years.

For Bardreau, the engagement in Brunico was his first contact with European ice hockey. Between 2015 and 2025, he gained valuable experience in the American Hockey League over ten years and even made eleven NHL appearances with the New York Islanders.

Long-term future in Brunico

Last year, Bardreau had 39 points in 44 games, making him the Wolves’ second-best scorer. Only Henry Bowlby, with 43 points, was better than the 32-year-old striker from Fairport, New York.

At HC Pustertal they are relying on consistency and have extended their time with a variety of cracks, including Bardreau. The right-handed shooter has been given a 3-year contract and will therefore play for the Pusterers until the end of the 2028/29 season.
