The EC Red Bull Salzburg will play the first test game of the new season against HC Košice in the Eisarena Salzburg on Saturday, August 16. Afterwards there is a fan event with autograph session in the Eisarena.
If the Red Bulls meet the HC Košice after five training days, they get a good location determination, it is the Slovakian champion and with ten titles at the same time record champions of the Slovak Extraliga. The Salzburgers won the only comparison with the Slovaks so far at the Red Bulls Salute 2021 in Kitzbühel in the game for third place. It is the only home game before the start of the Chl games in Salzburg at the end of August.
It is also the first season test for Košice. The Slovak master relies on local power and has 23 Slovak players in the contingent. The team is supplemented on the ice on the ice by two Ukrainians and a Czech. Head Coach is the 52-year-old Canadian Dan Ceman, who goes to his fifth season as head coach in Košice and has already had experience in Win2day Ice Hockey League with Villach and Linz (2020-21).

After the game, around 6:00 p.m., the players and coaches of the Red Bulls are expected in the foyer of the Eisarena for an autograph session. After that, Red Bulls and fans can end the “Get to know” evening in the Two Seasons stadium restaurant. The end of the event is estimated at 8:00 p.m.
New Jersey of the Red Bulls available in the bull shop
In the test game against Košice, the Red Bulls will be shown for the first time in the new look of the 2025/26 season. The home jersey is then offered for sale directly in the bull shop in front of the ice arena. From Monday, the new home jerseys will also be available online in the bull shop.
