ICEHL: Mark Katic could stay with VSV!

Mark Katic will end his active career as a player – but a complete farewell to Villacher SV is not off the table. The defender, who was active in several top European leagues for years, could remain with the club in a new role, as the “Kleine Zeitung” reports.

Katic not only brought routine but also international experience to Villach. Stations in strong leagues made him a classic two-way defender with strong skating skills. In his last season he made 43 appearances, 3 goals and 11 assists. The defender played 137 games for the Eagles.

Now the next step is coming: According to “Kleine Zeitung”, Katic plans to work as a skills coach. He also wants to present a corresponding concept to the VSV and could therefore remain with the Eagles.
