In the only Tuesday game this week, Olimpija Ljubljana beat Pioneers Vorarlberg 5-2 in the home game. The Slovenian hosts controlled the encounter from the start, but were initially unable to overcome Pioneers goalie David Madlener. Despite being numerically inferior, Marcel Mahkovec managed to score in the last minute of the first period. At the beginning of the middle third, Ljubljana made it 2-0 before the Pioneers also scored in the person of Ramon Schnetzer.
