ICEHL: KAC wins shootout thriller in Szekesfehervar!

For the sixth time in a row, the KAC wins an ICEHL game by one goal difference. At Fehervar AV19, the red jackets came from behind to win 2-1 in the shootout. Man of the Match: Jordan Murray, who scored KAC’s only goal in the game and the decisive one in the shootout.

The EC-KAC narrowly won 2-1 after a shootout at Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and celebrated their sixth league win in a row. Fehérvár got off to a good start: Bene Stipsicz gave the hosts the lead in the fourth minute. Jordan Murray’s equalizer came in the 38th minute. There were no more goals in the final period or in extra time. Both goalkeepers showed strong performances: Rasmus Reijola (AVS) saved 38 shots, Florian Vorauer (KAC) 33 shots. In the shootout, Murray converted the decisive penalty for the Red Jackets. Fehérvár suffered its second defeat in a row and is in ninth place.
