The EC-KAC won 5:3 against HCB Südtirol Alperia. It was the Red Jackets’ sixth away win of the season. Only the table leader Pustertal was able to take more victories abroad.
The EC KAC beat HCB Südtirol Alperia 5-3 and celebrated its seventh win from the last eight games. After 47 minutes, Klagenfurt were already comfortably ahead with a 5-1 lead, but shortly before the end of the game the game became even more exciting thanks to a brace from the home team. In the eighth minute Matt Fraser gave the guests the lead for the first time, Bozen responded through Cole Schneider (11th/PP1). The guests then took control of the game and moved away. In the table, Bozen is still in third place with 26 points, the KAC only has one point less and is in sixth place. In the first duel of the season on September 21st in Klagenfurt, the South Tyroleans won 5-1.
