The new year can hardly start better for Filip Simovic. The 18-year-old striker scored for the first time in the ICEHL in the last game against HC Innsbruck and now the next positive news follows.
The Montreal-born Canadian is now Austrian. As the “Kronen Zeitung” reports, the application has been approved and citizenship will soon be issued to the son of a Canadian mother.
