ICEHL: KAC celebrates a comfortable victory over HC Innsbruck!

The KAC won 5-1 against HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie in front of their home crowd. It was the red jackets’ tenth win of the season.

The EC-KAC consolidated fourth place in the table with a comfortable 5-1 home win against HC Innsbruck and won every third. After strong initial pressure, Preiml gave the Red Jackets the lead in the 16th minute. In the second period, Owre equalized on the power play (24th), but Schwinger made it 2-1 shortly afterwards. After a missed big chance by Lajeunesse, the Klagenfurt team extended their lead before the second break: Van Ee scored to make it 3-1 (38th), From with the siren to make it 4-1. In the final third, the Haie were unable to take advantage of their chances; Unterweger made the final score two minutes before the end on the power play.
