ICEHL: Head coach Tuomie puts VSV super talent in the top line!

It is probably one of the hottest red-white-red stocks currently available. Paul Sintschnig, who is only 16 years old, has already shone with some strong performances this year. Now he is being “rewarded” by VSV coach Tray Tuomie.

The Klagenfurt native has already made ten appearances for the Draustadt team and was able to collect four goals and one assist. The left-handed shooter scored his debut goal on September 26th against the Black Wings Linz.

After a short guest appearance with cooperation partner Zell am See, Sintschnig has been back in the Adler squad since October 17th. Most recently he was involved in your goal in the 5:4 overtime win over Ferencvaros Budapest. The good performances now ensure that the youngster gets his chance in the top line.

Today the EC iDM Heat Pumps VSV is visiting the HC Falkensteiner Pustertal and according to the “Crown newspaper” Sintschnig will form the Eagles’ front line together with John Hughes and Adam Helewka. “With a clever player like Johnny, it works well because Paul is fast and has a high ice hockey IQ. Add to that Helewka, who is robust – that can be a good mix,” says Tuomie.

“Newcomer” Arturs Kulda will make his debut. The Latvian will patrol the blueline alongside Mark Katic. “We know each other well from back then. Mark plays at a high level – it went well in training.” Maximilian Rebernig is also back, so VSV is traveling to Bruneck with 13 strikers.
