VSV was 76 seconds away from winning against HC Pustertal. The hosts equalized shortly before the end of the game and scored the game winner through JC Lipon in the third minute of overtime.
In a hard-fought game against EC iDM Heat Pumps VSV, Pustertal won 4:3 after overtime and climbed to the top of the table. The Wolves were already 1:3 behind. Villach first took the lead in the 25th minute before Pustertal equalized almost eleven minutes later. Just 21 seconds later, Villach made it 2-1, and 19 seconds later the sixth-place team even increased it to 3-1. Pustertal scored the important goal in the second third, and Nick Saracino shot the HCP into overtime in front of almost 2,600 fans 76 seconds before the end of regular time, in which JC Lipon made the decision.
