Against the HCI, the Pioneers showed a combative performance with comeback qualities. The Vorarlbergers equalized a 0: 2 deficit after 25 minutes until the second break. In the final third, the Innsbrucker then took the lead again in the 50 minute by Devin Steffler and finally decided the game with an EMTPY NET hit by Steven Owre.
In the first section, shortly before the end of the third, the sharks took the lead through a SHORTHADER from Darien Craighead and took this lead to the second section. In minute 26 Mathew Wilkins increased the lead for the sharks in power play to 2-0. Two minutes later, Julian Metzler scored the goal for 1: 2.
Shortly before the second change of sides, Marlon Tschofen scored to compensate for the Pioneers. In the third part of the game, the home side took the lead back and did not emit them until the end of the game. So the Pioneers had to give up the league competitor in the first comparison.
