After the departure of the EC VSV, squad planning for the coming season is already in full swing. Striker Guus van Nes could leave the club for the west.
The Dutchman has been an integral part of the team over the past two years EC VSV. In the current season he had 24 points (12 goals, 12 assists) in 42 games and was a solid support in the Villach offensive. In 190 ICEHL games so far, he has scored a strong 145 points for the Pioneers Vorarlberg and EC VSV (two seasons each).
According to the “Kronen Zeitung”, the Dutchman could move back to Vorarlberg because his partner also comes from the country. Nothing is official yet, but his contract in Villach is expiring and Vorarlberg, like Innsbruck, could become an option for the striker.
