Paul Huber and Nico Brunner took an early 2-0 lead – for Brunner this was the first scorer point in the 99ers jersey – before Matej Vela added on the power play. After the visitors’ goal, Jackson Currie fixed the final score. The Styrians climbed to fourth place in the table.
