The season in the ICE Hockey League is only a few games old for HC Innsbruck – and the head coach Ryan Kinasewich’s head coach had to accept some setbacks.
Before the kick -off, Alexander Erlacher and Matt Wilkins were already missing two strikers, during the week it got the next two offensive forces with Lukas Bär and Darien Craighead. Particularly bitter: Craighead even threatens a seasonal season. It is open whether his place will still be filled. A possible candidate is the Swede Sebastian Benker, who is currently in use as a replacement for Wilkins and could now receive a longer -term contract. The “Kronen Zeitung” reports.
At the away double in Hungary, Kinasewich now has to compete with a fuselage troop. Today it goes against Fehervar and tomorrow’s Sunday for Innsbruck will continue against new league. An old acquaintance runs there with Brady Shaw. The attacker, who became a league-MVP in the sharks dress in 2023, was also a transfer topic in Innsbruck in summer. In the end, those responsible decided, as the “Kronen Zeitung” reports, but against an obligation.
