The EC iDM Heat Pumps VSV celebrated a confident 3-0 away win against the Vienna Capitals, ending a two-game losing streak. The Villachers are now in seventh place, while the Capitals slipped to eleventh place. After a goalless first 30 minutes, Nikita Scherbak gave VSV the lead. John Hughes increased the score to 2-0 65 seconds before the end of the second period, and just four minutes after the restart Philipp Lindner made the final score on the power play. Goalie Joe Canatta saved all 22 of the Capitals’ shots on goal.
