ICEHL: Ferencvaros Budapest surprises the Graz99ers!

Ferencvaros Budapest was able to achieve their next success in the win2day ICE Hockey League. The Hungarians surprised the Moser Medical Graz99ers and won 3-2 after extra time in Murstadt.

In the first duel of the season between the Moser Medical Graz99ers and FTC-Telekom, the Hungarians had the upper hand. After just 24 seconds, Sofron took the early lead. Despite numerous chances and clear game superiority, the Graz team were unable to equalize in the first third. In the middle period, Laskawy increased the lead to 2-0, before Feldner shortened the score to 1-2 with his first goal in a 99ers jersey shortly before the second break. In the final third, Swaney scored a well-deserved equalizer and the hosts then pushed for the winning goal, but were denied several times by the aluminum. In extra time, Brady Shaw made the decision in favor of the Hungarians in the 62nd minute.
