ICEHL: Fehervar wins gripping duel with HC Innsbruck!

Fehevrar AV19 and HC Innsbruck played an incredibly exciting game in the only game this Saturday. The Hungarians won 5: 4 after several leadership.

The fans experienced a spectacular start: after just 31 seconds, Janos Hari put the hosts in the lead from a short distance. Csanad Erdely (4th) and ANZE Kuralt after a remarkable individual action (5th) quickly increased to 3: 0. But Innsbruck’s newcomer Steven Owre only made the connecting goal a few seconds later. Jan Lattner also reduced 40 seconds before the third end to 3: 2 with a long -range shot. In the middle section, the Tyroleans finally equalized the three-goal deficit when Stefan Klassek successfully dusted. In minute 46, however, Fehervar struck back in the power play: Darren Archibald scored to 4: 3 before Tim Campbell put 5: 3 just five minutes later. In an intense and sometimes heated final phase, Owre brought the guests up again with his second goal. In the end, however, Fehervar saved the tight victory over time.
