ICEHL: Fehervar strives for overtime success in Innsbruck!

Hydro Fehervar AV19 leaves the Tyrolean capital with two points. The Magyars prevailed at HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie 2-1 after extra time. Ironically, ex-shark Joel Messner made the decision.

The duel between Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and HC TIWAG Innsbruck was very close. After an even opening phase, the score was 1-1 after just eight minutes. As a result, the Hungarians gained advantages, but repeatedly failed due to Innsbruck goalie Matthew Vernon. It wasn’t until the third minute of overtime that Joel Messner saved the hosts with the decisive goal for a 2-1 victory.
