The HC TIWAG Innsbruck – the Haie is taking the next step towards professionalization: Daniel Mitterdorfer is now taking on the role of Business & Team Development Manager.
In the future, Daniel Mitterdorfer will work at the interface between business development, sales marketing, internal structures and team management. As a connecting element between the players, coaching team and board, he ensures clear paths, clean coordination and an environment in which the team can fully concentrate on the sport.
The future begins now
Chairman Günther Hanschitz: “We consciously invest in structures, not just in headlines. Marketing Director Jürgen Zimmermann underlines the importance of the personnel decision:
“With the appointment of Daniel Mitterdorfer as full-time sales marketing and team manager, HC TIWAG Innsbruck – the Sharks is sending a strong signal of professionalism and identification. As a shark from the very beginning, trained in the youth ranks of HC TIWAG Innsbruck with stations in the ICE Hockey League and as a former player for the Austrian national ice hockey team, Daniel brings with him sporting experience at the highest level and a deep connection to the club. Together we will create structures sharpen, develop new economic potential and sustainably realign our club.
Daniel Mitterdorfer is also looking forward to his new task:
“The HCI is home for me. I played here until I was 17 and later ended my professional career – this is where I learned the basics that shaped me. That’s why for me it’s not a position ‘at’ a club, but responsibility ‘for’ my club. I bring experience from professional sport and at the same time the necessary distance to think strategically: I know the dressing room – and I’m now getting to know the organization from the ground up. My focus is on structure, clarity and long-term stability, because it’s more sporting Success doesn’t just start on the day of the game, but in the processes behind it. I want to create a framework in which performance can grow: clear processes, clean communication and a common understanding of professionalism, so that everyone in the club knows what we stand for and what contribution they make.
