Traditionally, hockey news is looking for the player of the season again this year. Before that, however, it is important to choose the respective players of the month, who are determined by a fanvoting. In the first month voting we are looking for the player of the month of September.
6 players are nominated monthly by the Hockey News editorial office, who then start election to the player of the month. The winner is determined by a fanvoting lasting several weeks and qualifies directly for the election as a player of the 2025/26 season, which takes place after the last month voting.
In addition to the six monthly winners, the editorial team nominates six other deserving players, which means that a total of twelve players are available. The result in the final player of the annual election results from the sum of two votings. 50% from the fanvoting as in the elections as the player of the month and 50% from an editorial voting in which the Hockey News editors coordinate.
The voting runs until Thursday, October 30th / midnight and here are the nominations for the player of the month September:

Sebiges as for Meyer applies to TJ Brennan. His time in the home league was a few years ago, but the offensive defender has not forgotten anything. Just like 2020/21 for Salzburg, he is now scorting for Laibach.

Nick Bailen showed his qualities as early as the previous year when he was brought from Cologne. He now confirms his contract extension with outstanding services.
Brian Lebler (Black Wings Linz)

The best Icehl scorer of all time knows even at the age of 37 where the box is. Five goals from the first five season games show that again he is one of the absolute top goal hunters.
Connor Corcoran (Red Bull Salzburg)
6 games – 5 goals – 1 assists – +1
The substitute for top dining Ryan Murphy makes his departure forget. The Canadian showed no adaptation problems in his first European station and is the third Defender who qualified for the first monthly voting.
