ICEHL: Bozen returns to winning ways with a shutout success!

After two defeats in a row and the exit from the Champions Hockey League, HCB Südtirol Alperia is back on the road to success. The Foxes beat Hydro Fehervar AV19 3-0 in front of their home crowd.

After the overtime success in Innsbruck, Fehérvár continued his road trip in Bolzano. In an evenly balanced first third, both teams had chances, but there were initially no goals. The fans also waited in vain for a goal in the middle section, although the hosts increasingly took control. In the final third, Fehérvár’s goalie Dominik Horváth initially prevented the team from falling behind with a remarkable save. In the 46th minute it was Enrico Miglioranzi who ended the goal drought with a precise shot into the far corner. It was his first league goal in more than a year and a half and also the start of Bolzano’s goal parade. Brett Pollock added shortly afterwards before Cole Schneider fixed the final score in the 52nd minute. HCB goalie Sam Harvey also celebrated his first shutout of the season, which meant the South Tyroleans climbed to second place in the table.
