A moment of terror in the first third overshadowed the heated hit against the Vienna Capitals on Friday evening: Luis Lindner remained in the neutral zone after a collision away from the game and had to go into the cabin prematurely. His opponent then apologized personally for the accident.
The same evening, the defender underwent initial investigations in the capital and was then transferred to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz. Despite unpleasant symptoms, a CT could give further all -clear – the suspicion of concussion was not confirmed.
Nevertheless, the 24-year-old is still under observation as part of the Concussion Protocol of the Win2day Ice Hockey League and in constant clarification by the Medical Team of Linz in the KUK. His status “Day-to-Day” is continuously evaluated.
