Squad planning at EC VSV continues to progress. Now the next departure is likely to be imminent.
Yesterday the VSV announced its first new signing, Scott Walford, and now the next departure is likely to be on the horizon. This is home-grown Nico Uschan, who like the new Walford defender is.
Uschan went through the entire VSV youth ranks and made his debut in the ICEHL in the 2022/23 season. He also went through all youth national teams and, at the age of 18, is a current U20 national team player.
Youngster about to move abroad
He has played exactly 50 ICEHL games for the Eagles so far, recording one goal and four assists, as well as 10 penalty minutes. And it could stay with 50 games for the time being, because as the “Kleine Zeitung” reports, Ushan will be moving abroad. It is not yet known where the youngster is headed.
