ICEHL: Are two Austro cracks leaving Red Bull Salzburg?

After the end of the season in Salzburg, some players could turn their backs on the Bulls. Young local talents like
Luca Auer
(21) and
Philip Wimmer

(24) could leave the club after the end of the season – this is reported by the “Salzburger Nachrichten”.

Wimmer, who despite taking part in two A World Championships has not yet been able to take on a permanent role in the team, had to struggle with numerous injuries that severely limited his development.

The future is also uncertain for Auer, who only managed four points in 44 games. Both players no longer seem to be at the center of Salzburg’s sporting planning, which is fueling speculation about possible transfers. It is still unclear whether teams within the ICEHL could strike.
