The bottleneck in the VSV defense worsened over the weekend: as already reported, defender Mark Katic had to limp into the dressing room in the Hungary game. There is still no diagnosis, but according to the “Kronen Zeitung” there is suspicion of a ligament injury in the foot. If this suspicion were to be confirmed, the veteran would likely be out for weeks.
Positive for it: Alex Wall returns to the ice after breaking his ribs and could be fully operational again as early as Friday. Before the away game in Vorarlberg, VSV has mixed feelings about their defense.
