ICE party: Defender Ian Scheid has found a new employer!

Last summer, the American Ian Scheid switched from the DEL to the Black Wings Linz. Now the defender joins another European club.

Scheid cut a good figure in the Upper Austrian jersey and scored 21 points in 47 missions, in the playoffs he added seven more points. But the defensive of the Black Wings was somewhat rebuilt during the summer break.

In addition to Ian Scheid, they also separated from Raphael Wolf, who hired the Vienna Capitals. For this, Luis Lindner and Ryan Mackinnon are new to the contingent. For Scheid, who has been running in Europe since 2021 and, in addition to the Linzers, also for the Straubing Tigers, the Nuremberg Ice Tigers and HC Slovan Bratislava, it is now going to the island. The 30-year-old joins the Scottish Eihl Club Fife Flyers.
