After the away defeat at the Graz99ers, HCB Südtirol Alperia got back on the road to success against HC Innsbruck. In front of their home crowd, the Foxes won 3-1.
Inspired by the sensational win against KAC two days earlier, HC TIWAG Innsbruck bravely started the away game in Bozen. The Haie took the lead through Stefan Klassek in the eighth minute. But in the middle third the Foxes found their way into the game better and better, took control and turned the game around with goals from Matt Bradley and Shane Gersich. Innsbruck hoped for a lucky punch in the final third, but was unsuccessful. Bolzano won 2-1 and thus consolidated its fifth place in the table.
