HC Bozen is deep in crisis after five defeats in seven games – captain Daniel Frank confirms this in an interview with “Sports News”.
He emphasizes: “There is so much potential in this team that we can beat any opponent.” At the same time, however, he warns: “I hear the alarm bells ringing.” Frank demands that every player “stand in front of the mirror and ask themselves whether they are really giving it their all.” The captain expressly takes responsibility for himself and says: “I am absolutely not satisfied with my performance.”
It’s gotten loud in the dressing room lately because, says Frank: “I’m not the only one in the team who’s had a hard time.” In his opinion, there is no need for reinforcements; the fit players should instead fill in for the absences. A win in Linz and successful home games should now bring the “liberation blow” and generate new self-confidence.
