Fitness as a basic building block
It is unmistakable that the team has worked intensively in the past few weeks. Athletic trainer René Baur states: “The local players have increased again compared to the previous year. The foreign players are also fitter than twelve months ago.” In Brixen, the condition, game system and tactics are also being filed.
Around half of the squad remained from the pre -season, 13 new additions must be integrated. “The club invested more money and got many good, strong and experienced players. Most played at a very high level and will surely help us,” Jaspers is convinced.
Ambitious goals
For the new season, the coach gives up the bar: “I generally have high expectations and always want to win. We want to improve every day and reach a place in the top 6 in the basic round.” He is aware that the competition is strong: “After all, some exceptional players have come to the league in the past few weeks. Some teams will be damn strong.”
