Good performance, praise from the opponent, but in the end we clearly lost 4-0 – that was the conclusion after the defeat against Salzburg. “The performance, the attitude, the fight – it was all right. They were simply too strong,” said Striker Marcel Witting after the game. But you can’t buy anything with it. “We’re all fed up with losing. We just have to manage to get a three-pointer again. If the attitude is like against Salzburg, it can work in Villach,” said Witting.
The Sharks have a positive record against the Eagles this season. The Tyroleans were able to win two of the three games so far. The last meeting went to the Haie 5-2 a week and a half ago in the TIWAG Arena. It was the HCI’s only win in the last ten games.
The EC iDM heat pumps VSV has recently slipped into crisis. Despite a change of coach, the turnaround was not achieved; only one of the last eleven games was won.
