Great rumor: top trio before ICEHL return?

In yesterday’s VSV stream, expert Gert Prohaska caused a stir with a surprising statement: The so-called “Karawanken Express”, consisting of Jan Urbas, Miha Verlič and Žiga Jeglič, could be about to return to the win2day ICE Hockey League.

The three Slovenian strikers, who are currently under contract with the Fischtown Pinguins in the DEL, are said to have been targeted by HK Olimpija Ljubljana. Laibach allegedly wants to bring the well-rehearsed trio back into the league and thus send a strong signal, both athletically and emotionally.

Jan Urbas caused a stir as a top striker, especially during his time in Villach, and was also active for the KAC. After his time in Graz, Miha Verlic was also an important player for the Adler for many years. Ziga Jeglic left the league after the 2010/11 season, but previously caused a sensation at Jesenice.

It is still just a rumor, official confirmation is pending. The three former national players have been the cornerstone of the German offensive in recent years!
