After the Graz99ers won the championship title, the ICEHL clubs are now making their first squad decisions for the coming season. Now a name has emerged that could cause a big stir in the league: former NHL crack Adam Brooks. As insider “Rinkrat” announced on X, the 30-year-old Canadian could move to the ICEHL.
Impressive CV
The striker can look back on an impressive career. In 2016, Brooks was drafted in the fourth round by the Toronto Maple Leafs. As a result, the Canadian played 45 games in the best league in the world for the Leafs, the Montreal Canadiens and the Vegas Golden Knights. Brooks also played over 300 games in the AHL.
Move to Europe
The Canadian moved to Europe for the first time for the 2024/25 season and joined Red Bull Munich. He spent the past two seasons there and was one of the Bulls’ top players. Last season he scored just as many points in 38 regular season games. In the playoffs he added another seven points in ten games.
Switching to ICEHL?
Now the move to the ICEHL could follow. There is likely to be an internal change to Red Bull Salzburg!
