Graz99ers leave the STEFFL Arena with three points!

The Moser Medical Graz99ers leave the federal capital with three points in their luggage. The Styrians prevailed 5-2 in a very well-filled STEFFL Arena and remain on the heels of the KAC.

In addition to the EC-KAC, the Moser Medical Graz99ers have also qualified for the Champions Hockey League. The third CHL ticket goes to the champion of the win2day ICE Hockey League 2025/26 or, should KAC or Graz become champions, to the third-placed team in the basic round. At the Vienna Capitals, the 99ers were initially 0-2 behind against the KAC, as they were on Sunday, but ultimately won 5-2. For the Viennese it was the first home defeat after four wins in a row. Eleven minutes had been played when the Capitals made it 2-0 in front of 7,022 fans in the sold-out STEFFL Arena, but just one and a half minutes later the guests reduced the gap. In the 38th minute, Michael Schiechl finally turned the game in favor of the 99ers with a great goal and in the 51st minute Nico Feldner made the preliminary decision. Michael Schiechl marked the final score again with an empty netter.
