Graz99ers have the upper hand against VSV!

The Moser Medical Graz99ers won the third duel of the season against EC iDM Heat Pumps 4-1. The Styrians thus end the calendar year with three wins in a row. It was the Eagles’ seventh defeat in a row.

The EC iDM Heat Pumps VSV had to admit defeat to the Moser Medical Graz99ers 1:4 in front of 3,465 spectators – a sold-out house – and suffered their seventh defeat in a row. As a result, the Villach team slipped to tenth place in the table, level on points with eleventh-placed Vienna, while the 99ers are in second place, only three points behind leaders KAC. It was Graz’s third win in a row. Marcus Vela gave the guests the lead in the fourth minute before Anders Koch completed the early double strike with his first goal for Graz in the seventh minute. Although VSV came within 1:2 in the 31st minute through Brett Ritchie, the 99ers remained unimpressed and made everything clear in the final third through Paul Huber (54th) and Kevin Roy (57th/EN). In the third duel of the season it was the Styrians’ second victory.
