Graz99ers coach Long before the duel with VSV: “We have to be very careful”

This evening there will be a duel between the Villacher Adlers and the Graz 99ers in the Villach town hall. While VSV surprised with a strong start to the season and is currently in second place in the table, the Styrians want to find consistency again after recent inconsistent performances.

Former VSV defender Nico Brunner is looking forward to the reunion, as he revealed to the “Kleine Zeitung”: “Villach is currently playing very compactly, both offensively and defensively. It will be a really tough away game,” said the 33-year-old, who is playing for Graz in his second season.

99ers coach Harry Lange also shows great respect for today’s opponents: “It feels like VSV is constantly scoring goals at the moment. Whoever wins 6-3 in Bozen is on a real run. We have to be very careful – they can do a lot out of very little.”

In the first duel of the season, Villach narrowly retained the upper hand 4:3. The people of Graz are therefore eager for revenge and this time want to steal points from Carinthia with a concentrated performance.
