Canadian Chase Pearson spent a year at EC iDM Heat Pumps VSV before moving to the island after the 2024/25 season. His sporting future is now clear.
Pearson moved to Europe for the first time in the summer of 2023 and stormed in his first Euro season for the Slovakian club HK Dukla Michalovce. The now 28-year-old impressed there with a points average of 1.26.

After a year in Slovakia, Pearson signed with Villacher SV. There he scored 19 goals in 38 games and was the Eagles’ fourth-best scorer with 33 points. The Draustadt team was led by John Hughes (59), Kevin Hancock (53) and Nikita Scherbak (36) and finished ahead of Pearson.
Top goal getter in Nottingham
But after a year the collaboration ended and the Canadian moved to the island. The attacker spent the past season at the Nottingham Panthers – and once again he was very productive. The former Detroit Red Wings draft pick was able to collect 45 points in 47 games. This made him the Panthers’ second-best scorer; his 22 goals were the team’s best. The EIHL club and Pearson have now agreed to continue working together. The left-handed shooter was given a 1-year contract.
