Former VSV audience has a new employer!

The former Villach favorite Anton Karlsson has found a new club: the 29-year-old striker will move to his home country and will in future run for Falu If in the third Swedish league.

Karlsson had come to Villach for the 2019/20 season and quickly played into the hearts of the fans with his combative playing style and scorer. In his premiere season, he scored 20 goals for the eagles before he first moved to Aik Stockholm. But just a year later, the Swede returned to Carinthia and became a key player of the VSV in 50 games with 41 points. Especially in the playoffs, he shone with 13 points and contributed significantly to the success of Villacher.

After this strong season, Karlsson left the eagles again, initially switched to Znojmo and then gained experience in the Danish league. Last season he was active for Stjerne in Norway before he now ventures back home. Karlsson wants to continue his career in the third Swedish league with Falu IF.
