The Canadian striker Daniel Ciampini, once the second best scorer of Icehl, has officially ended his active ice hockey career.
The 34-year-old now made a name for himself in the 2020/21 season when he collected impressive 59 points in 48 games in the jersey of the Innsbruck Haie and was one of the top scorers of the league.
After his successful year in Tyrol, Ciampini first moved to the Czech Extraliga to the traditional club Rytíři Kladno. During the same season he returned to the ICEHL and strengthened the HC Bolzano. In South Tyrol, he came up with seven points in 24 missions.
The Canadian spent the last three seasons in the British Eihl with the Sheffield Steelers, with whom he was able to win a title, among other things.
