Last season, Canadian Ross MacDougall stormed for the Pioneers Vorarlberg, and now the defender is returning to North America.
In the summer of 2024, Crack, who was born in the Canadian province of New Brunswick, joined the Pioneers from Feldkirch. He was on the ice in 47 games for Vorarlberg and was able to collect 26 points. This made the Canadian the third-best Pioneers scorer and the most points of any defender.
Almost exactly a year ago they parted ways and MacDougall finished the season with the Slovakian club Dukla Trencin. This year he also started the season in Slovakia, but for HC Presov, for whom he played 35 games. But now the European adventure is over for now, MacDougall is returning to the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) and will defend there for the Florida Everblades.
